Get POSH on this spooky holiday!
That spooky holiday is just around the corner, and a long with costumes, pranks and trick-or-treating may come a spooky mess with all the kiddy crafts and treats! Halloween should be enjoyable for parents and kids alike, so here are some ideas for some All-Hallows fun.
Not looking forward to the pumpkin carving mess? Consider different pumpkin crafts that will allow your kids the same Halloween fun, without the spooky aftermath! Use different candies to attach to pumpkins for the design. Avoid the need to carve out the entire pumpkin and use licorice, jellybeans or other tasty treats as the facial features! Not only is it cleaner, it’s simple and tasty too!
Maybe the pumpkin mess doesn’t bother you, but you have no idea what to do with all your left over seeds. Keep your kids busy with making a pumpkin seed necklace, or gluing them onto paper to use for different arts and crafts. Pumpkin seeds make a tasty treat too! Take the seeds and roast them in the oven for a quick easy snack while you are on the go or use the inside of the pumpkin to blend into a puree for use in baked goods or pumpkin soups!
